Description

Botanic Garden is an oasis of peace and tranquility with lush green surroundings and vibrant with the colours of Penang Tropical Flora. The 30 hectares garden also features a waterfall. Next, you will visit Penang Butterfly Farm which spans 0.8 hectares and is the home of 3000 living specimens amongst which are over 50 species of colourful butterflies, frogs, scorpions and other insects. It features a lily pond, rock garden, tunnel, bubbling mud pool and artificial waterfalls. You will also be taken to Penang latest tourist attraction spot, a Propolis Bee Farm which offers insight to bee breeding among visitors. Get to know the differences between natural and synthesized honey, the various type of bees and honey produced. Last but not least you will go shopping at Cocoa and Coffee Tree House & Tropics.
